Every year we get together with the Brower side for Christmas Eve or thereabouts. We used to have big talent shows where everyone had to do a talent before opening gifts but we all grew out of that and we ran out of talents. We also decorated gingerbread houses for years. The kids loved them until they turned into teenagers and started making wrecked houses. Mark offered a $20 prize for the best house and they greatly improved after that. But things changed over the years and there are great grandchildren now and the grandchildren have all grown up. We still love to get together though to eat, laugh and enjoy each other's company. This year I planned the activity. I love the kazoo game and brought kazoos for everyone, it is a game all ages can play and enjoy. We went around the room and each person had to kazoo the Christmas song they drew out of the box. Everyone would join in kazooing as soon as they recognized the tune. It was hilarious. I laughed and laughed. Mark got bored fast but no one else wanted to quit. After the Christmas songs, Mitchell started Star Wars and it went downhill from there. We love our family so much and it just wouldn't be Christmas without a rousing Brower family get together!
