A Wonderful Day! 2

Kevin and Malorie's wedding day was wonderful.  We had a buffet lunch with 87 of our closest friends and family at the Grand America Hotel.  The food was great and the company was better.
We then went over to the Salt Lake Temple for the Sealing.  It was a beautiful day, full of sunshine and warmth for this time of year.  The Sealing was inspiring and the couple looked very happy.  We waited for them to come out enjoying the Temple Grounds.  There were lots of brides getting pictures taken and Malorie's uncle managed to sneak into several family shots of those unknown brides!  He had on a bright orange tie and a distinctive look that you couldn't miss. Patrick really thought that was funny.  We had all of our pictures on the traditional stairs and then left for home.  In the evening, we all came back for the reception.  It was at a local nursury and it felt like an outdoor garden reception inside.  It was beautiful.  The decor was tarnished silver and damask.  The family wedding pictures by the cake were a hit.  We had lots of guests and lots of food and fun.  Shad added 500 mint truffles.  Randy (Mal's dad) was planning on setting off fireworks at the end but 3 firetrucks came roaring up the hill to the store across the street.  He waited until they left and let off a few.  Nat and Jeremy, Pat and Parker, and others decorated Kevin's car.  Off they went back to the Grand America and then to Playa Del Carmen for the honeymoon.  It was truly a wonderful day.
