Over Labor day weekend, we drove to Colorado for a quick bike trip with the Shahas and Johnsons. We had so much fun. We stayed in a ski condo in Keystone and enjoyed Stacy's fresh garden omelets for breakfast and ate at some pretty good restaurants for lunches and dinners. We biked from Keystone to Breckenridge the first day, about 50 miles and from Keystone to Copper Mountain the second day. Mark and Lynn went all the way up Copper Mountain to Vail and down. Carol Sue and I picked them up on the other side of the mountain after our fun downhill back to Frisco to get the car.
On the way to Keystone we stopped at Hanging Lake. It is a steep mile up hike to an incredible lake situated on the edge of a steep high cliff. The water was crystal clear and there was a waterfall coming out of the rock about half way up the cliff.
