Rex and Julie Pond

We drove down the coast to Palos Verdes Estates to visit the Ponds.  If I reverted back to being a teenager at the reunion, you should have seen Mark and Rex together.  They went through school together for years and were roommates in college.  It was as if we were back at BYU and we all remembered when I told Mark "It's either Rex or me".  I think it is apparent he chose well!  We went to one of Rex's classes and then the boys went golfing together.  As we left for home Rex walked off to teach another class and he waved bye to us and said "love you, hon" to Julie.  Mark turned to look at Rex and said "love you too, Rex".  It was vintage Mark and Rex turned around and gave us his signature smile.
