Collemezzano to Tombolo

Today we started back through the pine forest again, which I love, with our bags on their way to our next hotel, the Tombolo Talasso Resort in Marina di Castagneto.

 Bolgheri, a small but charming town at the end of the amazing cypress alley.  One of the most celebrated Italian poets, Giosue Carducci, lived here for ten years.  He won the Noble Prize for Literature in 1906.
